Bicycle Across Canada

Great White North GeoTour

Toronto
Ontario

14 & 15 July 2009

There are some roads that you don't want to be on when riding a bicycle.

Lots of small parks along the road.

Some of the waypoints were in downtown business area.

I needed information from this plaque

Another waypoint - another plaque

Third waypoint another plaque.
After I did the calculations, the final was about 25 km away and it was getting late so I will do it in the morning.

The final took me out to the west end of Toronto in a wooded area.
Lots of signs that homeless people are spending the nights in the woods around here.

A little bit of looking an I found the cache with the clue for Ottawa.

I went through Toronto during the gargage strike. Public toilets were closed and all garbage cans were overflowing.
Waterfront parking lots were being used to store garbage but the smell wasn't too bad.

One of four places that I couldn't find a campground.
It was such a nice name, I slept in the field over to the right.

This geocache took 5 hours over a 2 day period and 55 km to do 3 waypoints and the final.

Now on to Quebec, Quebec
